Year 2 - Maths Learning - Week Beginning 26th February

This week we have started learning some more about the properties of shapes.  We have used lots of vocabulary relating to 2D and 3D shape.  We have used rulers and squared paper to help us draw squares and rectangles accurately as well as counted the sides and vertices (corners) or 2D shape and the edges, faces and vertices (corners) of 3D shape.  At home can you find the following shapes?  Take a picture or write down how many shapes you find.

A Triangular Prism.
