This week the children have begun writing an information text about Dorchester Market. After researching what types of writing was used in leaflets about local attractions the children were able to write their own descriptive and persuasive sentences. Next week we will be developing this idea and hopefully after being inspired by our trip to the market we will be writing our own Dorchester Market guide. The children have also been writing top tips for e-safety after are talk from Stuart from Dorset Police on Tuesday. Stuart came to talk to us about how to stay safe online and gave us some top tips about what to do when we are using the internet. The children have been making posters to persuade other children to follow their top tips.
