We have planned to celebrate the end of our India topic by having an India Day on Wednesday 19th October. For this day we would like the children to dress up in Indian costume. For girls this might be an Indian style tunic and trousers, or a sari or long skirt with a colourful top. For boys this might be a cotton shirt and trousers, pajama style trousers and a loose baggy top. We do have some costumes in school if you are stuck, please see a member of the year 2 team. In the afternoon we also like to invite the parents into to the class from 3pm on this day to sample the Indian food that we have made and to watch the entertainment! Please come along if you can as the children love sharing their learning with you.
