Year 2 - Maths Learning - Week beginning 19th March 2018

This week we have been consolidating our understanding of Fractions and finding fractions in everyday life.  We have used 1/2 in the context of measuring, using 1/2 cm.  We have also investigated different ways of showing 1/2 and explored how we can be creative with this making some wonderful patterns.  Lastly we have solved problems that required us to put fractions on a number line.  We have noticed that 1/2 and 2/4 are the same.
