This week we have started learning about Fractions. The children have shown good understanding of fractions of shapes and fractions of numbers. Finding 1/2 and 1/4 of a set of objects. We have also moved onto finding 3/4 of a group as well. At home why not practice halving and halving again for quarters. Can you cut things into halves and quarters? Can you calculate what fraction of something has been eaten? Draw pictures to show understanding! Why not decorate a cake so that you put the same amount of decorations on each quarter?Friday 16 March 2018
