The Great Fire of London Building Challenge:

As you know we have started learning about The Great Fire of London.  We have talked about London now and in the past and created a timeline to identify when the Great Fire happened.  Why not find out more by playing The Great Fire of London Game? http://www.fireoflondon.org.uk/game/

We will be using the game to help us write a diary about the Great Fire next week in Literacy.  To help inspire us I would like to create our own Pudding Lane in the classroom.  I would like each child to design and make their own 1666 house to add to our street.  You could use cardboard boxes or print off a template from the internet: http://www.brainsofsteel.co.uk/post/How-to-Make-a-Medieval-Model-House

This is a 2 week project home learning activity.  Please bring your houses in by Friday 23^rd March.  Every house will earn superhero points and a special Great Fire of London certificate!
