Today we were lucky enough to have another parent in to share with us all about their job. Dr Looker (Elian's Mum) came in to Year 2 today and told us all about her job as an Epidemiologist. The children were really intrigued to find out about what she does as a Scientist. They loved that we made up a fake disease called the Prince of Wales Lurgy! Thank you very much to Elian's Mum for coming in today.
The children all wrote a poem about themselves today. They needed to write about their appearance, personality, likes, dislikes and what makes them Unique. This is quite a tricky concept for them to grasp but they enjoyed doing it.
I will try and post some pictures of some of the poems tomorrow!
