Dear Parents,
It would be great if the children in Y2 could bring in a costume for their Class Assembly on Friday 13th March. They are all going to be playing the part of sailors on board a sailing ship from the time of Nelson’s navy (early 1800s).
Tracksuit trousers and white T-shirts would be ideal.
Handkerchiefs over their heads might make a nice addition.
Any that fancy a bit of face paint to add tattoos and moustaches would be welcome.
As the children will be climbing on some PE apparatus, they will need to have bare feet.
(They will not be allowed to use any toy cutlasses or pistols as they will need their hands free for miming.)
