Tasting Indian Food

This morning Year 2 enjoyed tasting a variety of Indian food with Mr Farrington. We tried lots of fruit, five different curries (home made!), rice and a range of tasty snacks such as samosas, pakoras and onion bhajis with lime pickle! Mr Farrington showed the class lots of photos of his time in India, including cafes, street markets, school lunches and lovely nutritious meals. We even watched a coconut being smashed open and some of the children had pomegranate juice squeezed into their mouths! We all have a right to nutritious food!
