Literacy Learning - Week Beginning 29th September

The children have had great fun this week making up their own versions of Little Red Riding Hood.  There has been lots of wonderful creative thinking about how they can change the characters and setting of the story to make it their own.  The children have also demonstrated their ability to use punctuation, adjectives and connectives to make their writing even better.  We have also been really pleased to see lots of children beginning to use their neatest joined handwriting at all times!  At home you could try describing some of your favourite book characters to each other to encourage your child to use exciting descriptive words.
