Over the last week we have had some amazing enrichment learning experiences. The children all got to visit the book fair and we shared a couple of stories.
Yesterday they had an input from Lynda on Rosh Hashonnah (please see Mr Spracklen's previous blog on this)
In Maths this week we have come to the end of our place value unit and so we are assessing what the children have retained so we can put in interventions in the next couple of weeks.
In English we are just about to start to plan our own stories based upon the Bear and the piano so watch this space!
In our SCARF lesson we have been focussing on what it is to be kind. It is so nice to see so many children supporting each other. We really do have some kind, thoughtful and understanding children in the class. We are really trying to follow our class charter as seen below.
On Tuesday afternoon next week Mr Spracklen will be taking the class to the farm. If you are available to support this trip please see a member of the team at the door.
As always, please come and speak to me at the door if you are concerned about anything. Parent consultations will be bookable soon but if you can not do those times we can arrange another one.
