Year 2 - Gold, Silver and Bronze awards for times tables - 19th January 2018

This term the children have been taking part in times table checks to see how they are getting on in learning their times tables.  The children have been challenged to try counting in multiples to achieve a bronze award; working out times tables facts for a silver award and answering quick oral questions to earn a gold award.  So far we have attempted the 10s, 5s and 2s.  Each week the children are encouraged to take the next step and earn the next certificate, this way they can take the learning of the tables at their pace, but are always challenged by the next level.  Have a go at the 2 times table matching cards given for home learning to help your child learn the facts for next week.  The 3s will be next if your child is finding the 10s, 5s and 2s easy!
