Another super week from all children, trying their hardest with their work. In literacy this week the children have been writing a biography about Florence Nightingale. In maths the focus has been on halving and doubling, linking to fractions and looking at whole shapes as well as amounts. A tricky area in maths so if you get the chance please look at 1/2 and what this looks like in different formats with your child. Much improved results for spellings this week! The children do get rewarded for getting all spellings correct. You are more than welcome on a Friday to look in your child's book to see how they are faring!
