A magical Christmas trip!
I cannot express my thanks for all the beautiful costumes seen on Friday. We had a magical school trip to Wimbourne and we had a fantastic time in the Priests House Museum. The staff at the museum had worked very hard to ensure a spectacular visit and the children engaged and participated 100% in every activity. The museum staff commented on the kind and polite nature of the class and I feel very strongly that they were a credit to both you all as parents and the school. Following our visit to the museum we crossed the street and visited the Minster. In the Minster the Reverend talk to us about the true meaning of Christmas. We also sang ‘Away in a manger’ on the steps at the front of the church. A video of us singing as well as some pictures from the day can be seen this morning in class (Monday 5th December, 2011) - alternatively you can see this video on our Year Two Merlin page. Please keep hold of your Victorian costume as you will require it again (a few times) in the New Year.
