🍂 Welcome Back, Year 2! 🍂
A big welcome back, Year 2! I hope everyone has had a lovely half-term break and enjoyed some well-deserved rest. We are ready to dive straight into Autumn 2, and what a fun-packed half-term we have ahead of us! Lots of exciting learning, new experiences and festive fun are just around the corner. 🎄
A few little reminders as we get back into the swing of things:
PE days: These remain on Thursday and Friday, so please make sure children come to school in their PE kits on these days.
School uniform: Please ensure that ALL items of school uniform are clearly labelled with your child's name. This makes it much easier to reunite any lost belongings with their owners!
What's happening this week?
Tuesday: We have a special visit from Dorchester Fire Service, who will be coming in to talk to us about fire safety, particularly with Bonfire Night just around the corner. A brilliant opportunity to learn how to stay safe!
Friday 8th November: We have an exciting Diwali dance workshop planned, where the children will get to explore and experience some traditional Diwali dancing. 💃
Looking ahead...
We have a fun-packed term ahead, with plenty of exciting things planned for Year 2. And, of course, the countdown is officially on... CHRISTMAS IS ONLY 53 DAYS AWAY! WOOP! 🎅🎄✨
Let's make it a brilliant half-term, Year 2! I can't wait to see all the wonderful learning and memories we make together.
