Dear Year Two Families,
In Year Two Maths over the next couple of weeks, we are working on
'Telling the Time' and Measurement with Time.
- Compare and sequence intervals of time.
- Read the time on a clock to 5 minute intervals
- Know the number of minutes in an hour and the number of hours in a day.
In class we have made some 'Telling Time Clocks' with special flap-over parts to help with time telling. These are coming home to support you with some 'Time telling' activities that we will also be sending home later in the week.
Not essential, but if you had thought of getting a watch for your Y2 child, now would be a great time to do so.
