Year Two - Christmas Show Information + Costume Request

Pantomime 2019/20: The most expensive and Cheapest Pantos this season! | Pocket Size Theatre Dear Year Two Parents, This year’s Christmas Performance is going to have to be done a little differently. Rest assured that we still have exciting plans! Without wanting to give too much away, here is how we would like you to help us if you possibly can please: We would like each of the children in Year Two to take the part of a pantomime character. They can have some choice with this; perhaps dependent on what costume you are able to provide from home. It will be better for the performance if we have a nice variety. Here are some examples. (You may think of others.) Ugly Sister, Cinderella, Evil Queen, Widow Twanky/ Pantomime Dame, Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother, Buttons, Aladdin, Genie, Back-end-of-the Cow, Robin Hood, Maid Marion, Sheriff of Nottingham, one of the seven Dwarfs, Rapunzel, Puss-in-Boots, Dick Wittington, Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Tigerlily, Wendy Darling, the Giant, Jack, mermaid, merman, pirate, “lost boys” etc It doesn’t matter if we have more than one of the same character. Actually a troupe of Pantomime Dames/Ugly Sisters would be funny! Do let us know if you are struggling to find a costume and we can help sort something out. After you’ve had a chat at home about what character you’d like to go for, please could your child’s costume come to school as soon as possible (in a named bag), but before 7th December so that we can start filming with Mr. Spracklen. Many thanks, Duncan MacBean
