Following some "Star Reader" quizzing activity last week, the children in Year Two have today selected a reading book to take home. These are the books that are supported by "Accelerated Reader Quizzes" (that are taken online).
All of the children have also chosen a non-fiction text from the library. These are an independent choice according to their own interests.
All books from school can be changed each week. There will be a timetabled opportunity to do this on Wednesday morning, but there will also be other opportunities during the week.
When books are returned to the school library system, they firstly need to come back to a "Returned Books" box in the classroom. This is because of the special cleaning process that we have in place.
We are very grateful to you for your continuing support with reading at home. This is such an important thing to build into your homelife routines and has an enormous impact on your children's development as a reader.
