Many thanks to Adeel who came to visit year 2 this morning. Adeel is a doctor at Dorchester Hospital and a practicing Muslim, he came to tell us about how a Muslim prays and how this is part of his everyday life. The children listened beautifully and came up with some fantastic questions for him:How do you pray?
How long do you pray for?
Do you believe in Jesus?
Can you pray on an aeroplane?
Where is the biggest mosque?
Do you pray with other people?
Why do Muslims pray?
We learned a lot from Adeel and this really helped us understand our currant RE topic.
