The children were really interested to find out about the process of ordering a product to it being in your hand. There are so many people involved in the process of making, packing, storage, transportation and within shops. Mrs Gallego showed the children how she loved her job as she got to travel around the world.
Unfortunately we were only able to have a very brief discussion with our next visitor (so sorry!). Mr Mills (Jack's Dad) came in to talk to us after break time. He spoke to us about his job in Solar Energy. Mr Mills showed us an amazing 3D image of our school which was great for the children to see as they will also be using this program very soon. The children are really enjoying the different sorts of jobs that they are finding out about.
We had our link school from Aldershot come to visit us today. Mr May and his children from Year 1,3 and 4 hosted the assembly this morning. The children found it fascinating watching their video of where they are from. The school council reps then got to spend the day with the children from Aldershot doing lots of exciting activities. Mr May, Mr Gibson and Mrs Johnson each held a mini workshop. I think that this was a big hit! The vegetable soup smelt lovely.
