Just a couple of reminders - tomorrow we are off to the farm so please can all the children come in warm weather/water proof home clothes and bring wellies in a named carrier! (I am very excited!!!) Also if there are any mums, dads, nannys, grandads or carers who would like to join us then please let me know in the morning and come along! It would be lovely to see you there!
Mrs. Webb and I have created our new reading area which looks very inviting - another request for books (as it looks a little bare!) We will be thinking about fundraising for a reading den wig wam and, if we raise over the amount we need for that, we can buy some books too - I will be scouring charity shops and car-boot sales!!!!
Again, if any of you would like to come in and read a story of your choice to the class from 3:10 on a Thursday we would love to have you - the children adored listening to Mrs. Stevens and were mesmerized - totally lost in the story - superb!
The next couple of weeks will see us learning multiplication and division and applying it in problem solving, we will be entering the wonderful and magical world of Roald Dahl in literacy, we will also be learning all sorts of exciting things about the human body, the jurassic coast and much more.........watch this space!
