Lego Tuk Tuk's, Peacock's, Mehndi Patterns...INDIA DAY

What a great day yesterday was for Year 2!

Everyone looked fantastic in their costumes especially once they had their Mehndi Pattern decorating their hands too - a BIG Thank You to those parents who helped draw the 32 Mehndi Patterns!

Our hands were also decorated in paint from making the beautiful handprinted Peacocks (the national bird of India), which are being displayed in school before being brought home.

Year 2 also enjoyed Indian music, dancing, food and  games making it a brilliant India Day!

Here is a fantastic Lego Tuk Tuk made in some exciting home learning before India Day.

What other Indian home learning can you do?
