Next Week in Year 2

We've got lots planned for next week. In Literacy, we're going to be creating leaflets. If you get a chance over the weekend, why not spend some time looking at leaflets (try the Tourist Information Centre) and what they look like. It would be great if some children bring their favourite leaflet in on Monday.

In Maths, we're going to be doing some work on money. All those different coins can be confusing, so if you get a chance to look at some over the weekend and talk about their shape and colour, what they’re made of and how much their worth, it would ne time well spent.

In Science, we’re going to be setting off the volcanoes we’ve been making! A couple of children have been doing the Diet Cola and Mentoes experiment at home. There’s still time to bring in videos and photos of your efforts!
