Today in Literacy we continued our work on connectives using this worksheet (please feel free to print and use at home with your children). We explored how we can extend sentences (those in grey) using a connective in the pyramid. We learnt how 'and' is not always the best connective to use and we tried to use words from the lower end of the pyramid where possible. Please continue to explore this at home and where possible encourage your child to write using the skills they have been learning and applying in class.
