This week in Literacy we will be building on our work on the Great Fire of London and will be thinking specifically about Samuel Pepys. This week children in class will be writing a diary entry about a special day (our visit to the Priest House Museum) and will consider how time connectives can be used to support their writing. Why not start writing a diary with your child at home this week to support our work? Focus on the writing in the first person and using time connectives such as: next, then, first, finally, etc.
