Year 2: British Science week Newt investigation and more!

What a brilliant start to Science week we have had! Today as well as practising for our upcoming assembly (this Friday at 9.30am), we have been curious! We spent time pond dipping and then we made a tally chart of the different species of newts we found. Using this data we then made pictograms.

It was then Year 2's turn to join myself and the STEM ambassadors in STEM club. Today we experimented with making secret notes that change colour when we painted a special solution over them.

This Friday is our class assembly as well as red nose day. The children can come in home clothes and wear something red.
