Year 2 - Week 3!

Hello everyone, hope you've all had a good weekend and are feeling ready for another week in Year 2!

We have had another busy, yet fun filled week in Year 2. Your children truly are amazing!!

In Maths we have continued to focus on addition and subtraction, and this week looked at subtracting two digit numbers from two digit numbers and also fewer and more. In Literacy we have been focussing on Victorian Schools and how these differ from schools today. In Science we looked at the life cycle of a plant.

Thank you to all those who blinged up their child's bike, scooter or skateboard. They all looked amazing!! Also a big thank you for the support you showed for Children in Need on Friday.

A few updates and reminders for this upcoming week;
- Children (and adults) are welcome to come to school in their national team colours every day that their national team is playing in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. All national team allegiances are very much welcome!
- We are going on a trip to Shire Hall on Wednesday. If you haven't already given permission please can you do this on pay360. Also, please remember to send in a packed lunch with your child.
- Christmas Shoe Box Appeal Collection is tomorrow (Monday).
- POW passports are due back into school tomorrow (Monday).

See you all tomorrow!
Miss White, Miss Greedy, Mrs Hibberd, Mrs Burgess and Mr Long.
