Year 2 - Literacy Learning - Week Beginning 4th June 2018

This week we have dived into Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.  We have looked at how Roald Dahl describes the characters and settings in his stories and have tried to do the same ourselves.  All of the children have been able to write wonderful descriptions containing lots of WOW words and some children have tried to write in the style of Roald Dahl himself.  We have also explored the Chocolate factory "Minecraft" style and made our own maps of Wonka's paradise.  We will continue the adventure next week and develop our writing even further.
