Super heroes were everywhere in Year Two on Friday, ready for the class assembly. Many thanks for sorting out some fantastic costumes, the children looked marvellous. A lot was packed into the class assembly on Friday and the children did well remembering their lines with not a lot of practice. For Christmas we will all be working on projecting our voices!!
The class completed their literacy work on writing instructions for a royal visit and turning a school child into a super hero! They all appear to have grasped the instructional writing element, have a look at with your child as to where they might also see instructions. Do they have 'bossy' verbs, are they numbered in steps?Spellings are being learnt really well now by some of the class. The group who had the most children getting them right this week was Apostrophes, well done! Let's see who will win this challenge next week?!
