Year Two - Looking at Maps of Chembakolli

Today in Year Two we have been looking at maps.

We have had to write the coordinates, refer to symbols shown in the key and estimate distances using the scale.

Now can we remember what these terms means?

Year Two - India day Tuesday 30th March

The children in Year Two are having an "India Day" on Tuesday 30th March. We will be doing dance, artwork and cooking with an Indian flavour over the course of the day.
We are hoping that the children can come dressed for the occasion. We appreciate that the majority of children in India do wear the same modern clothing as children in the U.K., but would like to encourage the children to wear clothing with an Indian style. If this is tricky, then smartish non-school uniform will be absolutely fine.
Many thanks, Year 2 Team

Can you recite this to one of the teachers next week?

Never let it rest,

Until the good is better

And the better, best.
