We have all settled back into the swing of things in Year 2. We are in the middle of our SPAG week where we have been focussing on changing verbs by adding -ing and conjunctions. In Maths we have started a new unit on Money, the children have been using their 2, 5 and 10 knowledge to add different amounts of money, so please get those piggy banks out and get counting!
*Tomorrow is Forest School tomorrow, please can we have wellies and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. We are hoping that the weather might be on our side this half term!
*Please can you ensure that your child does not bring in toys, fidgets and little items in to school. There have been many times when items have been exchanged and either lost or the children taking them home.
*Can you double check your child's clothes to check they are theirs. Although we try very hard to remind the children to put their jumpers in the 'jumper dumper', their trays or their lockers we cannot always keep track of them, as I am sure you will understand. We have missing cardis, jumpers, coats and a blue zip up.
