Today in Science we discussed how germs can spread through not washing our hands properly. We investigated what happens when we do and how to wash our hands properly by watching the wash your hands song.
Then in groups the children looked at what happens to germs when we sneezed they had a spray bottle (nose) and a piece of paper to see how much the germs spread.
We have also been listening the an audio story in Science about germs.
In Maths today we caught a bus and then a rollacoaster to help us learn our 2, 5 and 10 times tables.
A couple of people having mentioned about reading books. If your child is in my RWI Spelling group then they do not have a book home every week like the RWI groups do. This is because they have learned all of their sounds. Instead they have a levelled RWI book (please see me if you do not know your childs) this was sent home in home learning folders. Please encourage your child to read these, do the quiz and then swap them. If your child does this then they can visit the library whenever they need to.
Whole class reading book swap is on a Friday.
