Hello everyone, we hope you have had a wonderful weekend. We have had a great week in year 2, and the children have settled back in well to the second half of the Spring Term.
We have continued with our multiplication and division unit in Maths and this will continue into next week. The children really enjoyed reading the owl and the pussycat and have loved writing for different purposes such as a love letter, why the owl and the pussycat can and cannot be friends and also looking at contractions e.g. I've. won't. We will be continuing to focus on this book next week. In Science we started our topic of Animals and Living Things. Children took part in an investigation where we measured and spans and found out who had the biggest hands. We will be continuing this topic next week.
Just a reminder that World Book Day is coming up on Thursday 7th March. If you have any questions about this day please let us know.
See you all tomorrow!
The photos we have taken this week have not been backed up by the ipad so I will do another blog tomorrow with pictures from this week!
