This week we have been plugging away at telling the time, writing digital times and calculating with time. The children are becoming even more confident in reading the time from analogue clocks, many of them using five minute intervals well. The children have used clocks to move time forwards and backwards by hours, half-hours and quarter-hours. I have been really impressed at how much work the children are doing at home to support their learning in this area. Several children have been drawing clocks and Harry DB actually made his own wooden clock with hands - amazing! To continue learning at home you could keep asking your child what the time is, remember to get them to look for the hour first!
