Year Two - St. Mary's Church visit Weds 3rd April

The children in Year Two are visiting St Mary's Church in Dorchester next Wednesday 3rd April. We will be walking to the church, aiming to arrive for 9.30 am , work inside the church for an hour and returning to school by 11.00 am.
Any Y2 parents who would like to join us to help with the visit would be very welcome.

Home Learning Activity for Year Two - Weds 13th March

Illustrated Travel Log        - D.A.S.P. Competition

We would like to ask the children to create an “Illustrated Travel Log”. This should be the details of an adventurous journey. It can be a real account of somewhere you have been, - or an imaginary journey to anywhere in this World… or beyond.

It would be great if we could enter the children’s work into a D.A.S.P Competition. We will be looking for neatly presented work with exciting ideas, vocabulary and illustrations.

Year 2 - March Maths Challenge - 8th March 2019

Next week we are taking part in the Mathletics March Maths Challenge.  We have entered into this competition against other children across the world who use Mathletics.  It runs from Monday 11th to Sunday 17th March.  If we can get onto the leader boards we stand a good chance of winning a prize for the school.  So get logged on and lets see how many points we can earn!  Points earned at home as well as at school all count, so go Mathletics Mad!
